The Collegiate Congratulates 9 QuestBridge Finalists!

The Collegiate Blog Mentoring Program is proud to announce that 9 mentees have been named QuestBridge National College Match Finalists! The QuestBridge National College Match helps outstanding low-income high school seniors gain admission and full four-year scholarships to some of the nation’s most selective colleges including Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Yale University, Princeton University, Stanford University, Amherst College, Williams College, and Swarthmore College.

All finalists were chosen through a rigorous selection process by QuestBridge which identifies students who have faced socioeconomic obstacles but have still become some of the highest academic achievers across the country and the world. Typically fewer than half of all applicants are named finalists. Finalists are now eligible to participate in the National College Match program where finalists complete 1 application that focuses on their high achievements as low-income students. They are able to apply to up to 8 of QuestBridge’s 33 elite partner colleges. Students are notified if they have been offered admission to one of the partner colleges by November 30th.  Admitted students receive a full tuition, room, and board scholarship in the form of 100% grants.

The following mentees were named as finalists:
